We're blessed that we can even get a home but I was trying to explain to my mom when she was saying that we just need to find a nice starter home, that isn't an option anymore. It's looking like our first house will be something that we have to grow into instead of growing out of

I'm looking at houses with my partner (F26, M27) and as much as a want to get a starter home that we can fix up and make our own, we can't even get approved by FHA for anything that isn't move in ready. It honestly feels like there isn't a starter home for my generation.
