Operating costs don't dictate house edge.
Pricing is a strategic choice, and a crypto-native operator with a different business model could easily run tighter margins than legacy casinos.
The online crypto casino "niche" has quietly become a multi-billion dollar industry.
We're still early.
Most people are still walking into IRL casinos for pathetic loyalty rewards while playing slots with 10–15% house edges.
Or they're placing sports bets with 5–25% holds at whichever sportsbook spent the most on advertising.
Worse yet, many younger users find themselves on Roblox or Case sites with 20%+ house edge and most likely a fishy backend…
The industry is exploding, but the canals are still being dug to the correct places.
