My wife studied Biochemistry, and when we first met, I was a bit worried about telling her that I was a teacher because two ladies had previously rejected me for that reason. To my surprise, she was happy and fully supportive. Because of her interest in education, she later obtained her PGDE and became a teacher as well.
One day, we sat down and discussed our future. Since we were both teachers, we wondered if we could start our own school. Honestly, we had no idea where to begin, but we decided to take a leap of faith. We started with our three children in a three-bedroom apartment.
Before the end of that first session, our school had grown to 50 pupils, and soon after, we moved to our permanent site. Today, by God's grace, our school continues to grow, and this Saturday we will be celebrating our 4th Prize-Giving Day.
What started as a simple dream between two teachers has become a testimony of faith, hard work, and God's favor.
Don't drift through life hoping things will change.
Change rarely comes to those who wait. It comes to those who decide, act, and persist.
Direction beats distraction. Purpose beats procrastination.
Chimdiebube Onwubiko won a gold medal at the International STEM Olympiad.
He is just 13 years old and currently in JSS3. He has finished _Engineering Mathematics_ by K.A. Stroud.
He has now proven himself on the world stage.
The wait is over.
We have 2 golds: Chimdiebube Onwubiko and Don Anele Munachimso.
We are the best in the world!
Egejurum Onyedikachi’s name was omitted. He should have a gold.
The greatest tragedy is waiting for a breakthrough while neglecting the daily disciplines that create one.
Great men are not made in moments. They are shaped by rituals repeated in solitude.
A beautiful morning to you.😊🫂
Success is rarely built in one dramatic moment.
Men are built daily, not suddenly. Not by bursts of inspiration, but by repeated habits.
What are your repeated habits?
I never said the journey would be easy. In fact, it's difficult, demanding, and often uncomfortable. But that's exactly why so few make it.
If it were easy, everyone would be a professional artist. Everyone would be a professional footballer. Everyone would build a successful business.
Greatness belongs to those who keep showing up long after others have given up.
Stay the course. Your consistency will separate you from the crowd.
I promised to come with receipts, this is an excitement I cant contain. Years of hard work, investing in these kids is paying off hugely.
We have just broken 20 year long record in the just concluded Pan African Maths Olympiad, 2026, in Ivory Coast.
Nigeria won 3 Silver Medals and 1 Bronze Medal.
Silver:
Chimfumnanya Aghaduno of Penny International School, now studying at African Olympiad Academy
Damaris Oyerinde of Ambassadors College,Ota
Luis Lu of Nigerian Tulips International College, Abuja
Bronze:
Ikenna Enwere of BrightSun. By the way, he got the second highest score (370) in Jamb this year, amazing talent.
This is the first time Nigeria has a female student that secures Silver medal at PAMO making Chimfumnanya the first Nigerian female with the highest score at PAMO ever.
This also means this is the first time we have 2 girls securing Silver medals from Nigeria.
This is a huge win for Nigeria and testament to the investment @SpecialMaths had made on these kids in the last couple of years.
Moment like this brings pure joy, we remain resolve that every child that enters our doors would leave a champion.
Big congratulations to the students, parents, schools for your continual cooperation.
Stand firm.
The storm will pass. The criticism will fade. The obstacles will surrender.
But the man you become through persistence, discipline, and unwavering faith will remain.
Do not measure your future by your current situation. Many people who changed the world started with empty pockets but full hearts.
Stay faithful to your vision. Learn one new thing today. Take one bold step today. Be kind to someone today.
Small, consistent actions create extraordinary results.
Hood morning and have a blessed and productive Saturday. Your best days are still ahead.

We were on our way to the golf area when my tour guide suddenly slowed down and pointed toward the water.
"That's my friend, let's say hello."
By the riverbank stood a man, absorbed in what he was doing...
Fishing.
Curiosity got the better of me, so I stepped out of the car and walked over.
I had never really fished before, so I stood there watching him in fascination.
It was the hook-and-bait stuff.
And a few moments later...
He pulled something out of the water.
A tiny fish.
Then another.
And another.
I couldn't hide my confusion anymore.
Looked at the small fish flipping helplessly in the bucket and asked...
"So... people are actually going to eat these?"
The fisherman smiled and shook his head.
"Oh, no."
I glanced back at the bucket, and thought within me...
Then why was he spending so much time catching fish nobody would eat?
As if he could hear the question forming in my mind, he said:
"These aren't the fish I'm after."
He lifted one of the tiny fish and said,
"These small fishes are bait. The only way I can catch them is with earthworms."
Then he pointed toward the vast stretch of water ahead.
"I'll be going after the big fish tomorrow."
"So why not use the earthworms for the big fish too?"
He smiled again and said:
"Because big fish don't eat earthworms," he replied.
"They eat smaller fish."
Just like that...
A mere conversation by the water turned into one of the most profound lessons I've ever encountered.
And this is it:
Many people want big opportunities, big contracts, big influence, big results, and a big life.
But they are unwilling to prepare for them.
They despise the small assignments, underestimate the small disciplines, and mock the seasons that seem insignificant.
Yet, very often, the small things are not the destination.
They are the bait.
The unnoticed skills, relationships, and experiences you are building today may not look impressive now, but are preparing you for something greater.
You don't catch big fish with the mindset meant for small fish.
Every level requires different preparation.
So...
Don't become frustrated because life has handed you earthworms and small catches.
Perhaps what looks ordinary today is simply preparing you for the opportunity you've been praying for.
The little stuff you do counts.

Terrorists ambushed, slaughtered, bombed, disrespected and desecrated our colleagues in the Armed Forces, who happened to be your brothers, fathers, uncles, in-laws, friends, husbands and confidants.
They were killed without remorse while shouting "Allahu Akbar".
Then instead of retaliation, the government hoodwinks the same military to organize " Peace talks" with these terrorists, who came for those meetings in the uniforms of our slain comrades.
Then your tax payers money is being used to fund the rehabilitation of these bloodthirsty animals, all in the name of OPERATION SAFE CORRIDOR. They are finally reintegrated into the same society where they cause more mayhem!!!

34 days. Still no answers.
Thirty-four days in captivity. Children, teachers, and families are still waiting for freedom, while loved ones wait for news.
Every day in captivity is one day too many. Where are they?
