Earlier today, I approved the Constitution of a 2,690-Member Grassroots Committee Ahead of APC Direct Primaries in Lagos.
The committee, strategically structured to reflect the political architecture of Lagos state, draws its membership from all 245 political wards and the 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs).
The 2,690-man committee constitute of 10 representatives selected from each of the 245 wards, 10 representatives drawn from each of the 20 LGAs and 40 at the state level. Each 10-member unit at both ward and local government levels comprises of designated agents for my Aspiration as a Gubernatorial hopeful, media and communications personnels, security coordinators, grassroots mobilizers and canvassers.
This structure is designed to ensure operational efficiency, message consistency, and robust voter engagement across all strata of the party. They have the mandate of our campaign group to coordinate ward-level mobilization and stakeholder engagement, drive voter education and participation in the direct primary process, ensure compliance with party guidelines and electoral protocols, and serve as the first line of communication between the campaign and grassroots party members.
This initiative underscores my commitment to a participatory, transparent, and inclusive political process, aligned with the principles of internal democracy as upheld by the APC.
I remain confident that this expansive and well-coordinated grassroots structure will significantly enhance party cohesion and position my aspiration for a credible and successful outing in the forthcoming primaries.
@officialjandor JANDOR of Lagos is the most preferred to succeed Gov. Sanwo-Olu as governor of Lagos State in 2027. Fresh ideas, new energy for a progressive Lagos

JANDOR AND THE QUESTION OF CONSENSUS: A COMMITMENT TO PROCESS, PRINCIPLE, AND PARTY SUPREMACY*
We note the ongoing speculations alleging that a preferred aspirant has been anointed for our party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 Lagos governorship election.
We restate, in line with the official position of the Lagos State APC leadership as communicated by the State Chairman, that no aspirant has been anointed and that all aspirants will participate in a credible primary election.
Dr. Adediran is firmly committed to this process and is preparing accordingly, engaging party members and strengthening his grassroots structures.
At the same time, he remains guided by party discipline. Should our leader and the leadership resolve to adopt a consensus candidacy, JANDOR will fully align with that decision, irrespective of who emerges.
This is a position anchored on his readiness to compete, and a willingness to submit to the collective will of the party.
JANDOR urges party members not to mistake a campaign by an individual or a political group for their choice aspirant as the party position or that of our Leader. “When the party and our Leader speak, I am sure no one will do otherwise”.
