I used to love @WestJet

My last flight was cancelled in Calgary (due to weather to no fault of their own.) We sat on the tarmac for 4 hours only to be deplaned. They told us not to talk to any attendant as they couldn’t help us and to wait for an email.

We tried to talk to attendants in person and call anyways but no luck. We had our two children with us and found a nearby hotel.

No email. No call. 24 hours passed. We dragged everyone back to the airport to wait in line for two more hours to find out if we had a new flight. If we didn’t do this we would have missed our next flight.

Every other person in line had the same story. No one received communication.

I got on the new plane with these horrific cramped seats that don’t recline and they had the heat pumping. I kindly asked the stewardess if she could adjust the heat to which she said “well she’s in menopause and is fine so I should be.”

She could see the sweat on all of our faces crammed into these tiny seats.

What people are asking for is so basic.

1) Room for their KNEES
2) Communication if you cancel or change things on us
3) Simple services when asked for basic comfort
