Today let us pause to consider how God sees us. "...what is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You take care of him?
You made him a little lower than angels; You crown him with glory and honor, and set him over the works of your hands." (Hebrews 2:6,7)
Today we thank God for the peace He gives to those who trust is in Him. "Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace." (Psalm37:37)
Today let us pray for our leaders. "Therefore I exhort first of all tha supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence."(1Tim 2:1,2)
Today we rejoice as Kingdom citizens. "...the Kingdom of God does not come with observation. Nor will they say see here or see there for indeed the Kingdom of God is within you.' (Luke 17:20-21
Today we rejoice as Kingdom citizens. "...the Kingdom of God does not come with observation. Nor will they say see here or see there for indeed the Kingdom of God is within you.' (Luke 17:20-21
Today we pause to praise God for His Son.
"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteous of God in Him." (2 Cor 5:21)
Today let us ask: are we taking care of what God gave us? "The heaven, even the heavens are the Lord's; but the earth He has given to the children of men." (Psalm 115:16)
Today we reflect upon our future in Christ:
"...the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever." (Rev 11:15)
Today we rejoice in the knowledge of how much God loves His people. "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)
Today let us put in perspective the enormous love God has for humankind. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
Today let us remember those who have gone before us and thank God for our being. "Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind who have no hope..." (1 Thes 4:13-14)
Today let us resolve to make Christ visible through our living in this world. "for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." (Philippians 2:13)
Today let us take time to thank those who have inspired or prompted us to do our best. "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority..." (1 Tim 2:1,2)
Today we are thankful God tells us what we need to know through His Word. "But Jesus answered him saying, it is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God." (Luke 4:4)
Today we press onward in this year holding on to His strength and promises. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and my reward is with me, to give to every one according to his work." (Rev 22:12)
Today we thank God for the example He left for us through His son Jesus. "For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example that you should follow His steps." (1 Peter 2:21)
Today we are encouraged because He gives us what we need to live this life. "As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue." (2 Peter 1:3)
