@TheRealZophar Impressive,
On the theme of "virtual", I dare you to try Virtuoso (https://t.co/AfercQnt7C)
**don't do it, for the sake of your own health**
@Allegro_spl Hey, at least it wasn't your sweet kitty that someone on your block had killed and you just wanted to bury her so you can grieve her and my drunk dad just "tsked" at me, like I was some sorry 7 year old bitch, put her in a plastic bag, and threw her in the trash. π’
@JohnsonHusky I've had one in my N64 for what, 27 years now? First of all, they don't make them like they used to, that's for damn sure.
Second, like 1 in 100 games will have some extra expansion pack stuff.
Third, some games will literally just not run, so for those games, you def need it.
@jonnittiFGC@Margqulius FADC was the only means to "parry" in SF4.
I think it's totally ok if someone gets good damage off of a jab if they have the 1 frame links down that well. How many 1 frame links exist today? AFAIK None, because since SFV, an input buffer was introduced to make combos easier.
@NerosCinema Nah leave it alone. Knowing modern devs, they'll dumb it down to make it more "accessible" and ruin the core feeling that made the game special in the first place.
Modern COD players getting bodied by BLOPS2 aim assist is equal to modern SF6 players getting bodied in 3rd Strike and crying that there's no drive gauge, parry button, and the combos are too hard.
Old games forced you to get good, and if you couldn't, go play Candy Crushπ€·ββοΈ
@djliamh Awesome! Now all you need to do is work on some floor angels (to start) and work your way up to wall angels (I can barely do these myself)
They work on correcting forward head posture from our modern day addictions (phones, gaming, computer use etc)
@EffDotDoug I know a lot of people playing SF6 that would much rather still be playing UMVC3 competitively, but, "there's no money in Marvel" and they're right. Thing is, I never joined the FGC for the money, so I'm cool playing Marvel till the wheels fall off lol
@GamewithDave Everyone in these comments has had some impressive feats, but have y'all tried getting to the top of a career in The Sims 1 with no cheats? Good fuckin' luck lol
@Pirat_Nation If I were in charge, and a greedy bastard, I'd sell each for 25, both for 40, 50 for both with all DLC. DLC separately for 10 per game. Guess I'm just not greedy enough to be an executive at Sony
@Densuo I think it was called Voices in the English version, not sure what it might be called in the Japanese version
Learned it on my classical guitar way back in the day
@Art_Domino@DynatheBlade Starcraft isn't nearly as popular anymore. SF6 and Tekken are both more popular than Starcraft 2 now. When SF2 was holding grassroots tournaments, Starcraft was inventing e-sports in Korea. Both genre are difficult, RTS games are slower paced, they don't punish you as much as FGs
@FiragaFox I had a friend ask me to teach him how to play fighting games.
**I booted up SF4**
**trying to teach him about high-lows**
"ok, jump towards me and hit any attack button on the way down"
**he hits up, then forward...to jump towards me**
"it's not working"
**I boot up COD**
@crofts I always point to these UMVC3 moments when people ask why I think it's the best fighting game for the scene to organically grow with. It captured the lightning in a bottle that real combat sports produce, the "HOLY SHIT" UFC moments that Dana White talks about? Marvel had that.
