sixth and final member of the cast is: me! (emma). i’m the writer/director of the piece, and playing the character of the comic. i wrote the piece in the cold, impossibly dark swedish winter, and am so excited to bring it to a lively, warm edinburgh summer!! 🇸🇪🇬🇧
fifth member of the cast: our last-minute hero niall! niall is new to the role and we’re so excited to see what he brings to the character of the doctor!
fourth cast member: this is greta - our sweet cannoli, our wise, RIPE tuscan vineyard, our espresso standing up in the mornings 🇮🇹. she is playing the mysterious, enigmatic, power pantsuit gameshow host. come and see her get her creep on, 21st-25th august! @ggretchenapril
Waking up at 7.30am to do an international Skype read through with @ogteatersweden and now treating myself to pancakes. So this is what it feels like to have a productive day?
third cast member: this is betty, the only native swede 🇸🇪 in the group! (though some of us wish we were...) she is: martial arts babe, protective warrior, the kindest listening ear, maker of the world’s best kladdkaka (swedish mud cake-maybe we’ll have some in edinburgh..)
Advertising at @edfringe is expensive & exclusionary. F#%k that. Four shows can have our BIG homepage banner all to themselves for FREE (1week each) throughout Aug. We'll help make if needed. Just RT this by 1 Aug, we'll pull 4twitter handles from hat and they can nominate shows.
Once again this year, our students and alumni are taking the @edfringe by storm. @warwickarts has written a handy feature on what's out there and what to see if you are up in Edinburgh this summer. https://t.co/fkiYp1n2QZ
second cast member: this is xenia, she is from germany &playing “the lawyer.” she is: running off the walls all the time, a bendy circus baby, listening to a recording of her lines &practising different lines aloud simultaneously, the best hairdresser, the sweetest heart 🇩🇪❤️
let’s start introducing you to the cast: this is fanny, she’s 21 years old, half 🇫🇷 and half 🇩🇪 and playing the character of “the actor.” she is: a poet in the kitchen, the best karaoke partner, a swimmer in all creeks and the best comforter during an ugly heartbreak cry 🌸💕
we’re coming to edinburgh from many different countries, but we formed and came up with our show GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO in uppsala, sweden. here is where it was first performed, and the gorgeous little city itself. (don’t worry though, the play is definitely in english!)
