Ogun State is a state in southwestern Nigeria. Created in 1976, it borders Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Republic of Benin. It is called the Gateway State.
Dr Bamidele Adebayo and Dr Adetunbi Babatunde have successfully performed the first brain tumor surgery in Ogun state.
The graduates of Lautech, Ogbomoso achieved this 12-hour Surgery at the Federal Medical Center, Idi Aba, Abeokuta.

Construction of Abeokuta City Centre is nearing completion.
The Centre will house Shoprite, GTBank and First Bank Corporate HQs, a 12-storey banking facility, hotel, amphitheatre and service apartments.
Over 4000 jobs will be created from this project.
Nigeria first ever Gold refinery is set to start production in Ogun State in 57days.
The refinery will employ more than 500,000 people in the first two years and have a production capacity of 3T per month of 99.99% Gold and 1T per month of 99.99% Silver.
MainOne and Facebook have built approximately 750kms of fibre network in major metropolitan areas in Abeokuta and Sagamu.
These will provide connectivity for public locations, schools and hospitals and improve Service to over 2.5 million internet users in Ogun!
