Today’s word of encouragement;👇🏻

Scripture;

Isaiah 41:13
"For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, 'Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”

Commentary;
The book of Isaiah is a go to place for Christians to get clear affirmations of God’s will and plan for those he chose. In this verse, God speaks directly to us, there is no doubt, no uncertainty, He says; ‘I am the Lord your God’, there’s no arguing about this, it’s a fact, whether you choose to believe it or not, We serve an all-powerful God who has given us access to everything and yet He still wants to come alongside us and hold our hand through all the good and difficulties of life.

I think this verse gives us a glimpse into His heart and reiterates how He longs to have an intimate relationship with us, it also reminds us that he can’t let go of our right hand, not for anything, His offer to help us is unconditional for as long as we put our trust in Him. Having faith in God, trusting Him and believing that he wants to help us is to our advantage, God will not impose His power on anyone, he is available for those who call on Him, and identity with Him, this scripture also reminds us of the need to continue choosing faith over fear, you can not apply fear to places you have trusted God to take you.

God, I thank you for your word today, I am grateful for your love and Grace that keeps me going, Lord I pray that you forgive all my shortcomings, where I have been gripped by the spirit of fear and limited my faith in you, Lord please forgive me, help me to hold onto your right hand and keep my faith intact in you, my hope is in you, my help comes only from you, I pray that moving forward, all my ways shall align with your will for my life and that I shall not fear or tremble for you are holding my hand. Thank you God. IJN. Amen.
