@BukkyOA Very nicely said.
Townhall meetings are a great place for visibility, especially for those in junior roles. The consistent quality contributions keeps you in the mind of people for long.
This is the summary of love for me. Two people willing to inconvenience themselves for each other, not one person trying to outsmart the other. He was ready to brave it for her, but she rather endured the traffic than let her man suffer the stress. Caring for each other.
One Monday, I was returning from the mainland (Magodo) to the island…
Got to Osborne by 3:48pm and met the worst traffic of my life, by 10pm I had not even reached Jakande🙂
This man kept calling me at intervals cause I always share my location, in one of those calls, I complained about my leg pain, next thing he said
“Let me come and meet you, in that traffic, find where park and I’d take over the driving because of your leg pain😮💨”
Thought about him leaving home and having to enter bus just to find me and I declined..
Finally got home almost 12am that day, before I had even gotten to the gate, this man was already outside waiting for me..
Helped me with my bags, got home to already mixed hot water, Brought me food, then massaged my legs properly before tucking me to bed🥹
I cannot even count the many instances I’ve had to experience his goodness….
The man I am married to🥹❤️
I follow this couple and watch their content, and I just thought to share.
Not just about how far science has come but also the importance of having a partner that will not laugh at you on the days when your display of faith might not make sense....
So happy for their answered prayers
All the superficial nonsense some of you constantly argue about in regards to marriage will all be insignificant if the journey gets hard..
Chose wisely
