An important milestone took place in May at the site of the future PK-5 school being built for the Northwest Local School District as steel erection began in the kindergarten wing. Progress continues with the project on track for completion in time for the 2027-28 school year.

Construction continues at @1burgschools’s future PK-5 facility in Clermont County. Concrete and masonry construction progress is underway at what will be a 65,056-square-foot facility, as you can see from these photos by Project Manager Paul Motylinski.
⭐ ACIC Update: Indian Creek LSD ⭐
The future Jefferson County Community Innovation Center is coming together in Mingo Junction, home of the Indian Creek Local School District. The 14,000-square-foot facility is scheduled to open later this summer.
⭐ ACIC Update: Bridgeport EVSD ⭐
Our latest Appalachian Community Innovation Centers (ACIC) grant program update comes from southeast Ohio, where a 28,500-square-foot addition is being built in front of the Bridgeport EVSD’s elementary school. “The Bridge” opens this summer!
Here is an update from Hamilton County, where @Finneytownlocal is getting a new middle-high school. This 72,236-square-foot school, which will house more than 400 students in grades 7-12 is scheduled to be completed in December.
The Ohio Village renovation project at the Ohio History Connection in Columbus remains on track – pun intended – with the recent move of the village’s bright red caboose to its final location. The reno project is scheduled for completion later this year.
The brand-new middle/high school is coming for Celina Schools in Mercer County, and progress continues as you can see from these photos from our partners at Peterson Construction Company in Wapakoneta. Opening in summer 2027.
Big news from downtown Uhrichsville. The Clay Capital Heritage Center recently celebrated its grand opening, which we aided with a trio of cultural facilities grants we administered. Special thanks to Senior Grants Administrator Jessica DeLong for her efforts.

Congratulations to the Norwalk City School District on the groundbreaking of its new PK-8 facility. The new elementary/middle school will be a 228,484-square-foot facility that will accommodate more than 1,600 students when it opens in fall 2029.

The latest construction project for Perry Local Schools in Stark County kicked off Friday with the groundbreaking of its new middle school. The 156,358-square-foot facility that will accommodate students in grades 5-8. Opening for the 2028-29 school year.
