@InmanRoshi @amyliztweets With that, schools are assumed a certain level of college preparatory focud and less variability of going off course. Parents definitely supplement of course, but i feel like its more of an "and also..." expectation to separate and individualize the kid

@InmanRoshi @amyliztweets Good point. I think a lot of that comes from assumed resources of families and performative expectations to stay involved and be visible, but theres an underlying assumption that among the wealth class of families that they all adhere to a certain set of educational norms
