@Klein25 One on and at 80 something pitches. Before then the ball barely left the infield. Dave has left Roki in too long before but not today. Yes Roki struggles the 3rd time through, but he needs to learn how to get through these innings.
@kobehighlight@RyanWardLA I remember this game well. The Lakers offense in the 1st half was hot garbage so Kobe decides to do it himself lol. He would’ve willed them to victory if they could just get some stops smh.
@JoeySlaton98149@msloniker122217@DodgersNation@MountainDew Agree with the 1st sentence. However, his slider has been awesome lately so I believe that’s a viable 3rd pitch. He has the forkball which he rarely throws now and a sinker that isn’t very good (high velo though).
@shoewizard59 Anyone who thinks Muncy made a dirty play is crazy. Vargas was running outside (since that’s where he caught the ball), so Muncy veered inside but Vargas went inside too because that’s where he should go. They just crossed each other up. Unfortunate play.
@blastellanos69@___jay91@MLBNetwork@LanceBroz I don’t get your point. Isn’t it smart to keep your best prospects and trade the lesser ones? I get that you’re saying other teams should be wary of prospects the Dodgers are willing to give up, but I bet they’re not willing to trade Sirota and Ryan because they’re good lol.
@blastellanos69@RayLokar@_maursupial@MLBNetwork@LanceBroz Busch is heating up after a slow start. Vargas started showing signs last year. His savant page this year is insane so he’ll likely continue to be good. Pepiot is pretty good.
@BlakeHHarris I’d be ok with this trade but not thrilled. Ryan is our best pitching prospect and Sirota is probably our best all-round outfield prospect. Would rather give up more but lesser prospects (preferably no one in the top 6). (2/2)
@BlakeHHarris Skubal improves their chances to win it all this year but by how much? MLB playoffs are unpredictable. On the flip side, Ryan/Sirota have huge upside. They might not pan out but the risk + impact of injury is greater for the team that consolidates in a trade. (1/2)
@nicktalkingball While his season avg for IVB has been 15”, minus his start vs the Angels (ironically), it’s been 16+” for a few starts, so it’s been trending in this direction. The dome today probably helped, but I hope he continues to move in this direction. His FB in 2023 was 98-99mph/18 IVB.
@alannarizzo It went on way too long, but the worst part was that he was screaming while pitchers were in their windup. I have little ones and love his enthusiasm, but his parents should teach him some proper etiquette.
