With petrol prices soaring past ₦1,000 per litre, Nigerian tricycle drivers are turning to electric mobility to survive rising costs. Battery-swapping hubs are replacing long fuel queues with one-minute stops, cutting expenses and boosting daily earnings. The shift reflects Africa’s growing EV market, projected to reach $4.2 billion by 2030.

Had a well-focused interview with @ARISEtv on why private sector investment in #DurableSolutions is vital for getting #IDPs back on their feet.
🇳🇬 IDPs seek sustainable livelihoods, not handouts. Investing in durable solutions delivers high returns: a win-win for #SDGs.
Nuhu Ribadu Made the Call and Ordered That I Must Be in Custody When I Landed – El-Rufai
The ICPC procured the DSS to abduct me for them; this is their modus operandi; they are personal tools of Nuhu Ribadu. The government thinks they are the only ones who listen to our calls with court orders, but someone tapped his phone, and I was informed.

CHAOS ERUPTS AS UMAHI DEFENDS N3.4 TRILLION 2026 BUDGET
Tempers flared at the National Assembly as Works Minister Dave Umahi defended his ministry’s proposed N3.4 trillion 2026 budget before a Joint Committee.
The session turned chaotic following a heated exchange between Senator Adams Oshiomhole and the Minister over the controversial reassignment of the Abuja–Kaduna Road project from Julius Berger to a lesser-known firm, MAIKANO. Umahi challenged lawmakers to inspect the project, vowing to resign if it is found substandard.
Drama escalated when Senator Onyekachi Nwoebonyi clashed with Committee Chairman Rufai Hanga after being stopped mid-speech, leading to a shouting match.
Umahi also revealed that only 9% of the ministry’s 2025 capital budget has been released, disclosed over N2.2 trillion owed to contractors, and said the Federal Government needs about N7 trillion to fund inherited and tax credit projects.

Hearing my little girl’s voice from backstage, confident, proud, bragging about her daddy and calling me onto that stage, I knew I had no choice but to give everything I had. I couldn’t let her down. I couldn’t let you down.
All the nights leading to this show without sleep, dreaming, working, believing, hoping, worrying. But on this night, more than anything else, I felt LOVED. Truly loved. And it made every sacrifice worth it. You are worth it all. Thank you.

I liked the way @lailajohnsonsal of @AriseTV stood her ground and refused to be "bullied" by the Minister.
As @MichelleObama says, when they go low, remember to go high
