Sadly this was me in high school! Life circumstances and all that, friends joked I was the sniper who disappeared every few months and reappeared. Then college came and they all became "snipers" too lol
Also crazy reductive to boil a game down to X, Y, Z-slop-- use your critical thinking! You don't HAVE to parry in MH, you have options! You don't have to use bleed in Dark Souls! It gets kinda annoying the buzzword of the day is more popular to throw around and it's not even good
It's almost reminiscent of Clutch Claw being useful for faster hunts in World's expansion(I forgot the name) but I didn't like it so I rarely used it. I still beat the googly eye dude lol. I still enjoyed the game, tiny mechanic didn't stop me.
I think having more options against monsters in Ascendance is cool!
.... because that means there's monsters it will help A LOT against!
Idk what SnS gets, that's my main, but... I don't see the issue. If I don't wanna bank on a monster's move, I'll just not. OooOoOOo.
@uncXrd@Creed_Compati True. I found the weaknesses by looking at the armor pieces of those monsters and using the elements the armor is weak too. Instinctively I sorta do that unless it's newer monsters idk yet.
@verydrearydays Yepyepyep~ lowest common denominator and all that. Lower barrier of entry, and so on. Inversely, more niche content will easily be much more hit and miss for the masses. Usually.
I think holding any video game as "da absolute bestest" says enough about how many video games you've really played.
Even I don't have 1 absolute answer, just a handful I like to play when the mood strikes.
Of course I'm concerned about video games! If only the graphical fidelity wasn't the only thing rising in quality like ohmygosh. I was concerned WAY back when when Assassins Creed became an annual thing, now it's not even about Templar and assassins now oghghh.
