If the NYT story on the Justice dept IG report is true the ArtorneyGeneral must resign or be removed Barr sat before the Senate and said there was evidence of spying by the FBI. He knew that to be a false statement but said it to help Trump’s conspiracy theory. Time to go Barr.
@BillKristol Bottom line, that is what is on trial. Will we defend the rule of law and our Constitution. Or will we blindly adhere to the “club” and abdicate our republic to a dictatorship for the wealthy.
@robportman if you know something that exonerates this traitor please share it with your constituents. Otherwise, please state publicly that you support removal from office. Thank you.
In my first 11 months I’ve cosponsored 339 pieces of legislation, authored 15, took on Big Pharma w/ my colleagues in hearings that brought PreP generic a year early & exposed abuse of power.
In 4 years, you’ve jailed kids & made corruption the cause celebré.
Try to keep up.
A reminder...
Donald will not stop until he is stopped.
HE WILL NOT STOP.
GOP won’t stop him. They are complicit.
DOJ will do nothing.
I don’t have answers but it doesn’t feel good.
(I’m not holding my breath for a free and fair election).
Tell me I am wrong...
The adoption of costly video-technology is part of a disturbing nation-wide trend: 74 percent of jails who have adopted video calls have subsequently banned in-person visitation.

There's also been a troubling national trend to ban donations of used books to people who are incarcerated and to restrict book purchases to certain vendors that charge exorbitant prices and have limited censored selections. https://t.co/rqps2UfNDQ
The stated rationale for limiting or banning both in-person visitation and books is the smuggling of contraband. But overwhelmingly contraband is smuggled into jails and prisons by staff. https://t.co/H3AUBN8HV1
It's prison slavery and the prison industrial complex in overdrive.
(Thanks to my amazing friend and colleague @BoddenMarlen for her assistance with this thread.)
The board of directors of Fox News Corporation seems to include no veterans, so perhaps none of the directors is at all sensitive to the amazing disinformation being propagated on Fox about the president's pardons and the disrespect they show for those who have served honorably.
