I’d like to offer a different perspective. This doesn’t seem like a weird phenomenon; this just seems like a work/life balance thing. I work in the service industry and meet a lot of talented/interesting/plain ol good people (1/6)

I love the people I get to interact with at work and the ways that I get to interact with them. Even if it doesn’t go deeper. Even if my support is silently cheering them on from afar. Even if it just looks like inflating numbers bc I don’t have the energy to reach out. (5/6)
