🧵 Limerick street art that vanished 🧵
1. Artist: Guido van Helten
A delicate monochrome portrait of a young girl peering down William Street. The lifespan of the piece was short-lived and the concrete exterior returned to its former grey glory quite quickly after completion
I accidentally broke a latte glass in a butlers coffee shop and it shattered into a million pieces and old women gave me death stares 😭 gonna fuckin kms I feel so bad
Today is the feast day of Mary Magdalene.
This is said to be her skull, which was discovered by the monks of Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume in 1279.
It's kept under a glass dome in a golden reliquary in the crypt of a Gothic basilica dedicated to the saint in Southern France.
