I know most quotes are generally being nice about this cover but for those who don’t know: Modyssey are a fully Chinese group within an industry that is historically and systemically Sinophobic. They were all mistreated by one of the biggest broadcasting corporations on live broadcast during their survival show, and were left at the back burner for months, yet still made a debut against all odds.

I don’t think it’s fair to judge or compare their hunger to perform or their status based off of one performance alone because their experiences within the industry and the road they take to ‘getting on stage’ are completely different. They have been working hard to even be on stage despite being discriminated against.
