What I remember:
> Weather ball red, fair weather ahead.
> Weather ball blue, bad storms are in view.

I don’t like rhymes where the the cadence and rhymes themselves do not force you to place the correct words in the correct places.
I think the most annoying thing about Microsoft migrating more and more of Windows Control Panel to the Settings app is that Settings forces 1 instance. I can’t use Settings to look at both network adapters and storage volumes at the same time.
C++ has come a long way in terms of expressive power and usability. I am impressed. It feels surreal that I can fill in an extern "C" struct of function pointers using C++ lambdas.
@azudezu Not sure at which point it becomes something police can help you with, but maybe your police department has some guidance about what to do on their website or you could call a non emergency line and ask what they recommend.
@azudezu Make sure to start collecting evidence and organize it in a place you can easily find it like a Google Drive folder. Remember that people can delete their own messages and accounts on many platforms, so make sure to download or screenshot things.
Every time I turn on my computer, Discord treats any keyboard shortcut (including ctrl+shift) as a match for my first custom keybind until I open Discord’s settings to the keybind page after which it fixes itself. Am I the only one?
On PC, I can just copy my Firefox profile and session to a new device. Copying over the tabs from an old phone to a new phone is almost impossible, especially if the tabs were, uh, sleeping/archived?
>Using the Microsoft Store to launch an app because the Start Menu currently can’t open anything and I don’t know how to open the Clock app from the Run box.
@RiotSupport I get KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE ever since League starts installing an update today (worked fine 1 day ago). Could you roll back your Vanguard version so that I can play League again?
Why is Firefox so eager to reset settings when I reinstall it or open it after not opening it for a long time? I think I understand the target audience, but none of those apply to me when I am accessing a computer I haven’t logged into for months. I want to keep my settings!
And since the app has a screen showing waiting uploads, why can’t I force specific files which I need in the cloud *now* to upload? Why must I turn on a global and wait for the queue to reach my file?
I appreciate that the Google Drive Android app has an option to wait for WiFi before uploading files, but where is the option to fine-tune that or bypass it for specific file uploads? Photos has an option to allow X megabytes daily over mobile data, that’d be nice for Drive.
Why does the Instagram Android app always pull up unrelated content when I tap on a notification? What’s weirder is that it pulls up content that might have been the target of a link I tapped last week—but completely unrelated to the notification I tapped on.
When the security questions are things like “What is your favorite ice cream?” or “Who is your favorite artist?”, I cannot trust myself to come up with the same answers in the future. So I have to store those questions and answers in my password manager.
I made a blog post about post-quantum cryptography, specifically on how "Harvest now, decrypt later" is a real threat, and what it means for IRC and UnrealIRCd. https://t.co/aqw0qQUw4T #IRC#PQC

Lossy HTTP GET path processing in PathString? Seriously!?!?
Reminds me of Firefox’s location.hash being broken https://t.co/E7DVj3e6oF (oh wow, they actually fixed that!? Kind of surprised honestly—I still use the location.href workaround).
