this is a pickerel frog! he was out on the trail this afternoon. i was taken aback by how pretty he was, his spots are just so vibrant!! #frognewsreport #prettyfrog #pickerelfrog

frog/toad news report of late: i heard the call of a gray tree frog at work today. did not see it but it was very loud and must have been near by. not the most exciting report, but it’s what i have.

Frog/toad news report: I caught a toad and released it into my garden, but unfortunately failed to get a picture of it. It was definitely an Eastern American Toad of the browner variety. I’m sorry I have failed to get a picture but if I am to see him again I will catch a pic.

Definitely not a frog, but it has been a relatively frogless few months for me, much to my despair. Here’s a pic of my friend The Clown and his delicious Clown Eggs as a consolation.

this handsome man is an Eastern Spadefoot!! it took me a while to identify him because his colors were unusually bright for his species. he was eager to be rid of me though, even though i saved him from a pool drain. a goof and a beautiful lad. #frogreporter #froggietime #frog
