OHP Traffic Homicide Units assisted the Calumet Police Department with a body found in the roadway early this morning. Law Enforcement located a vehicle possibly involved and have one person detained.
OHP Traffic Homicide Unit and Troop A assisting Tecumseh Police with an auto pedestrian fatality collision where a vehicle has left the scene.
State Highway 177 south of State Highway 9 is closed at this time.
Bryan County: Trooper McCutcheon stopped a driver for 108/65, he was arrested for DUI Alcohol aggravated (.15 Bac) & combined influence for marijuana. He had a suspended license for a 2018 DUI. We will never know the lives saved from a routine traffic stop. @enduiok@OHPtraffic

On 4-20-19 at 0035 hours Trp. Travis Hale was conducting a traffic stop on I-40 at MM 78(2 miles west of Weatherford) when his unit was struck by a drunk driver. The drunk driver also struck the vehicle Trp. Hale had stopped. Fortunately nobody was injured. Suspect was arrested.

Trooper Brad Dansby #428 sang the national anthem at our awards ceremony today. It’s always been rumored he’s related to Elvis Presley. He says it’s never been confirmed through genealogy but his mother’s maiden name is Presley. What do you think???
What an honor today to be able to participate in a celebration for the oldest living trooper - Hubert "Clarence" Anderson.
Anderson graduated from the 13th Academy in 1953 and was assigned to the Okemah division of District 2.
He is currently 95 years old.
US Marshals took Jason Lenard into custody tonight. He was wanted in connection to a double fatality wreck we’ve been investigating that occurred in the early morning hours of New Year’s Day in Jackson County.
