The new Quadrangle being built in Uptown was able to build less spots than parking minimums -- glad the city of Dallas has flexibility (if just for large developers) (article: https://t.co/dSfOy9egMu)
A map of Dallas in 1925 with streetcars & WITHOUT freeways (no 75, I-35, ring roads around downtown) & surface parking. Imagine the density in what's now the parking desert of Victory Park. Imagine the richness of life in such a place https://t.co/JLN4xkCLPN
Dallas has brought back micromobility in e-scooters, which I guess is good. But something actually good that could come with them? Real bike lanes to improve bike & ped safety. Unfortunately I see no future change in political will
It is absurd to me that 366 through Downtown Dallas & 75 through Uptown are not capped freeways. Klyde Warren is awesome but imagine connecting State Thomas with East Dallas & Uptown with Downtown
