So the cracks. It just occurred to me their meaning. A showgirl is supposed to never crack under pressure. You are supposed to see her smiling and always playing the part. But for Taylor when she was on eras tour she did crack. We saw raw emotion as she sang the surprise songs. We saw raw emotion during champagne problems and then we saw raw emotion during TTPD. The showgirl cracked to tell us the truth behind how she felt. It almost like her real self and the show girl collided and she told us everything. Think about where she did it—at surprise songs piano with Ophelia’s flowers right there. She did that to become more real and relatable. She told us it’s not all glam. But guess who was watching—him. And watching her he saw beauty even with the cracks. He saw her. And behind those cracks now are glitter. Bc sometimes when you finally come to terms with how you really feel and allow that to break through, there is beauty behind it. She healed many of us bc she was vulnerable and that album I know helped all of us. The cracks are now being filled with glitter bc there’s beauty in the healing. Sometimes you have to go through the shit to find what you were always looking for.
