@3kingvisions In grade 1, my son was told he could only read books his teacher gave him for his reading log. They were too easy, so he’d read his big sister’s books. Every night. So he’d bring the book home from his teacher, log it and we’d read something more interesting & challenging. 🤯

@3kingvisions We have lots going on at our libraries. Storytime, summer reading clubs with prizes. You can borrow things besides books- someone mentioned science experiments. We can borrow bird watching kits, ukuleles, random things like that.
