Hi to all of Taraโs Twitter followers. This her husband Blake Turner. I wanted to announce a memorial/celebration of life that we are having for her on May 13. Details are in the flyer below. Please let me know if you would like to attend either in person or virtually.
Tara was deeply passionate about honoring and remembering those who were killed by acts of racial violence during the 1900s, as well as cultivating community healing around their remembrance. The Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project shares these goals. @thesims
Some have asked about donations in Taraโs memory, including @thesims. If interested, please consider a donation to the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project https://t.co/J8oU83pXSf.
Most probably donโt know that she was extremely visually impaired, so creating was a real challenge for her. But it was one she enjoyed immensely. Thanks again to all of you.
Hi Everyone. This is Taraโs husband, Blake. I am overwhelmed and so grateful for the outpouring of emotion that has occurred on Twitter on her behalf. She truly loved this community, and especially those who helped her on her journey to be a creator on the Sims.
@OhTaraTara.. words cannot describe how sad I am to hear of your passing. I wanted to honor you one last time and add your simself to my game forever. you were going to teach me how to make cc. may your light shine bright & your memory live on, rest in peace to a beautiful soulโฅ
Iโm not the best at making sims that look exactly like real people but I felt it was only right that @OhTaraTara became a permanent part of my game.
I thoroughly enjoyed her as a person and an active member of this community. I wish we had had more time together!

Hello everyone, this is Taraโs niece. Unfortunately, she passed away yesterday night. She experienced cardiac arrest Saturday. We would like to thank everyone for showing her love and support. Her Sims work was something she was proud of. Again, thank you all she felt loved here.
The Sims announced the Logitech contest winner and people were demanding MWS fixes all up and down the thread. I hope the winnerโs joy wasnโt diminished - couldnโt unrelated comments have been addressed to EA in a separate tweet? Itโs okay to just celebrate one another. โค๏ธ
