Few scenes have touched me and stuck with me as much as Harry’s New Year’s monologue, and what Rob Reiner and Nora Ephron captured in this film, in that scene, is just pure magic; a longing so raw and internal expressed so vulnerably yet so open and ardent. One of the best ever.
