Orphan's Hope World Mission has started supporting a new shelter in a poor Taiwanese farming village. The children are typically raised by their grandparents and are not pushed to succeed in their education.

The directors say this is their vision for the shelter: "With God-loving volunteers as role models for youngsters, [the shelter] will prepare the ground to be good soil, so that God's Word can be understood and the crop will multiply from what was sown."

Quarterly Story: Coronavirus in China
Since Chinese New Year in January, the government has asked everyone to stay inside, so the shelter kids couldn't go to school. There were stories of people getting sick from a lung disease, but no official explanation was given. 1/3
In January, many of the shelter kids got fevers (a symptom of coronavirus), but the hospital was too expensive and crowded. The shelter director took care of them, and thankfully, they recovered. Please pray for the safety and health of those in our China shelter. 2/3
Here’s a look at our new, second shelter in Myanmar! Grace Home will provide abandoned and orphaned kids with education, housing, and spiritual support. Please keep them in your prayers—God is good!

Of the 25 kids there, many are physically disabled or special needs. In China, the stigmas surrounding these conditions often result in the child's abandonment.
