Suhaib al-Kahlout, elder brother of Hudhayfa al-Kahlout, known as Abu Obeida, has given a two hour interview on his brother's life on the first anniversary of his passing: childhood in Saudi Arabia, the family's displacement from Asqalan in 1948, the return to Gaza in 1998, his studies, his marriage, and his death in August 2025.

Hamas representative in Gaza, Hazem Qassem, has just published the following note concerning today’s two successive strikes on 34-year-old Jabr Muqbil, a Gaza City resident who became shahīd after the occupation struck his civilian vehicle near the American Hospital, west of al-Zawayda in the central Gaza Strip. After his family recovered his charred remains and began transporting them toward Gaza City for burial, the occupation struck their vehicle near al-Baydar on al-Rashid Street in Sheikh ʿAjlin, critically wounding several of his relatives and burning Muqbil’s remains again. Significantly, the message also vituperates those political figures offering fiery condemnations from the UN podium but offering nothing in the way of substantive support for Gaza, indirectly upbraiding Erdoğan and King Abdullah II:

“Today in Gaza… the occupation struck his car, leaving him charred beyond recognition… His family took his remains for burial, only for the occupation to strike his charred body again, setting the vehicle and those inside it ablaze… Meanwhile, an entire world watches… Speeches are delivered from the UN podium… Then the leaders step down after deafening us with their condemnations and denunciations… And afterward, the inferno in Gaza continues to consume people, stone, and trees… while the umma continues to fail the people of Gaza…”

Sayyed Salem Abu Musameh, a founding-generation Hamas figure and former president of the movement’s General Shura Council, was interviewed by Palestinian journalist Samer Jaradat for the ‘Lil-Hadith Sila�� podcast in February 2026. When asked who knew about Tufan al-Aqsa beforehand, Abu Musameh states that "only three" Hamas figures had advance knowledge: "Marwan Issa, Yahya al-Sinwar, and Muhammad al-Deif."

It doesn't matter. What Asrar has posted lacks a proper basis. It's attention seeking garbage. A muslim must be precise in criticism otherwise his entire point is lost. One must differentiate between madkhalis and the remainder of the salafis, to begin with.

And it doesn't matter what any university has said (that can be debated on its own) - here the allegations and characterisation in question are the ones spouted by Asrar.
