All the evidence bears out the jury verdict- he brought a weapon, insulted people, refused to leave, and stabbed someone. No evidence Karmelo regrets it like you claim. He even told the arresting officer he wasn't alleged, he did it. I'm sure he is regretting that prison sentence
What bothers me most about Karmelo Anthony’s verdict? First-degree murder means the jury feels Karmelo viciously attacked Austin, a total stranger to him, in an intentional, deliberate rage. They’re saying that he set out to purposefully kill someone he didn’t know, over a bleacher seat, in the middle of a chaperoned high school event.
Even if the jury decided Karmelo still needed to accept some level of guilt in a life being lost — a 35-year prison sentence and a first degree murder-conviction means the jury doesn’t see this as the tragic, tragic mistake between two young teens that it is.
They’re telling us Karmelo set out to end Austin’s life on purpose and with full intent.
When in reality, I think this is a regret and heartbreak Karmelo will carry for the rest of his life
@_ReeMiddleChild your collectivism is showing. also, 4 out of 5 of those cases are in different states. Do you not even know how the justice system works? weird, i thought you for sure you would have been a guest of the state before.
@testosteroneHAV If someone was taking my home against my will I think burn it all down rather than let them have it is reasonable. Let the immigrants have the ashes.
@bear_ing I do not think there is a high enough concentration of stupid enough people anywhere for that to actually happen. I think most of the Karmelo supporters recognize that he did murder Austin and protesting it won't do anything.
@nay305910 Are your questions stupid? Chow shot someone who committed a crime that had a gun, Chow claimed was pointed at him and his son. Karmelo stabbed an unarmed person who asked him to leave. If Cyrus stole nothing why did he run? he could have easily just shown Chow was wrong.
@GadharSean@X_fightss this is a dumb take. She tossed the ticket out of the window, you think she is showing up to court? Your suggestion is just pushing the arrest from now to some point in the future, so what would be the purpose of making it harder for the cops by them needing to find her again?
@Valley_BoyEnt@X_fightss Maybe if she acted like a civilized human people would have sympathy. I guess in your mind that is a bar too high. People who act like her being treated how she was is exactly what we want, race isn't a factor. these type of people erode our society. sign the ticket.
@messedupfoods imagine wanting $37 dollars because you wrote down some stuff and then carried a plate 10 feet. what is that 15 minutes of actual work tops? you don't deserve $148 an hour for knowing how to write and have functioning arms.
@MichaelShanks I take that personally. amazon doesn't recognize that what was made struck a balance of fun, sci-fi, but had an actual questioning of what it was. A military shooter show but had this character that asked the moral questions of whether it was the right thing to do.
#SaveStargate- story time. I started watching Stargate for Richard Dean Anderson but, the most influential character on me was actually @MichaelShanks Daniel Jackson. O'Neill, and Teal'c were warfighters, and Carter had military discipline make Jackson the moral foil
@MichaelShanks Many of my fellow Marines saw enemy combatants, irredeemable. I truly put a lot of my ability to see beyond them trying to kill us on Daniel Jackson. His constant push to do what's right not what's easy. Honestly, Amazon saying the new pitched show was too much for the fans...
