Serological clusters in systemic #lupus erythematosus and its clinical and prognostic implications (#RELESSER registry, n = 1,740 patients)
◦ Cluster 1 (negative for ENA, 44.5%): lower frequency of vasculitis, leukopenia, and lymphopenia.
◦ Cluster 2 (positive aPL antibodies, 12.24%): more frequently presented hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, vasculitis and visual alterations and required greater use of IVIG and oral anticoagulants. These patients also had higher baseline damage scores measured by the SLICC/ACR Damage Index.
◦ Cluster 3 (positive anti-SSA/Ro and anti-SSB/La, 26.7%): lower incidence of lupus nephritis.
◦ Cluster 4 (positive anti-Sm and anti-RNP, 16.6%): higher rates of lupus nephritis, leukopenia, lymphopenia, hypocomplementemia, myositis and cutaneous manifestations and greater use of glucocorticoids and immunosuppressants. These patients also had higher severity scores measured by the Katz Index.
