The pipeline announcement is being sold as a win.
But the Canadian Taxpayers Federation is right: governments should scrap carbon taxes and anti-pipeline red tape instead of borrowing billions for pipelines.
That is the real issue.
Alberta does not have a resource problem.
Alberta has an Ottawa problem.

INSANE: A Turkish man who shot two bystanders in a restaurant while attempting to kill his brother-in-law has been permitted to stay in Canada, despite being denied refugee status 10 years ago.

Annually, Alberta moves $30B of oil west through B.C.
B.C. moves $55B of B.C.’s goods east through Alberta.
If Ottawa accepts the idea that B.C. should be paid for Alberta’s access to tidewater, it creates the obvious precedent: Alberta can charge for B.C.’s access to eastern markets.

There is nothing dangerous about Albertans voting.
What is dangerous is Ottawa’s belief that Alberta should pay, obey, and remain quiet.
Prime Minister Carney’s “dangerous bluff” comment is not an argument. It is a threat dressed up as political messaging. https://t.co/70SdJ6CVcj
"A federal government strategy for monitoring, organizing, assessing and responding to online "misinformation" — including contemplated legal action against individual Canadians"
AKA get ready for the federal government to sue you if your online comments don’t align with Ottawas key messages.
HUGE RED FLAG 🚩
On July 2, PHAC announced it had strengthened the Vaccine Impact Assistance Program “to provide quicker and more responsive service.”
Today I called VIAP.
The recorded message said the wait time was over one hour.
Three years after applying, I am still waiting.
I recorded the call.
Does this sound like a system that has been fixed?
An Access to Information request filed by Blacklock’s Reporter (@mindingottawa) has uncovered a federal government strategy for monitoring, organizing, assessing and responding to online "misinformation" — including contemplated legal action against individual Canadians. The 35-page internal Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) document outlines a system for tracking online narratives, assessing individual posts, and escalating responses. It also contemplates legal action against Canadians over social media commentary.
If you receive a government demand letter seeking the removal of your online content, submit a request for legal representation to the Justice Centre. We want to hear from you.

As they explained to us REPEATEDLY:
1) We shall conquer you through the womb of our women;
2) We shall conquer you via hijrah (Arabic word for migration);
3) We shall conquer you by using your miserable freedoms against you.
This Sharia-compliant judge is using the third point.
