@CGasparino Ha. Gasparino makes my head explode several times a week. He is a good journo though - wish we had more like him even though we do not agree all the time.
@AntiLeftMemes His lovely (but dumb) wife is a Williams graduate, grew up as the daughter of a famous diplomat, and has traveled the world as a reporter. And she never took his last name so there is no documentation issue.
Agree with you very much. My mother was a teacher for almost 40yrs and she was firmly of the opinion that it was parents and culture that make successful students. Not money or expensive buildings and equipment. Look at the Vanguard charter schools as a good example - classic curriculum and efficient administration.
Yes, yes, and YES! Each state and even some cities already have their own Depts of Education. The same goes for the 50+ EPAs, Depts of Agriculture, HHS, Dept of Labor, etc. etc. State agencies and state atty generals are free to enforce both state and federsl laws. No need to generate a federal office.
Though. . . You must appreciate that people wear shirts with Guevara and Mao proudly. I don’t see people wearing David Duke gear anywhere. Communism has a cache that appeals to youth, be it altruism or overly generous empathy. I have friends and family members that are proud to be communist-oriented. I don’t particularly like it but you love and accept people in this world as you find them. My Lord compels me to love my neighbour even if they annoy the living fuck out of me.
This is typical in USA. They call you racist to shut you up and end the conversation. Commies have used the word racist so much here it is a laugh line that no longer has meaning. They want to intimidate you publicly and make you go home. In UK they apparently also want to put you in the hoosegow for speech and peaceful assembly. Be careful they are losing and will do anything to stop you from being free people.
@spunkmonkey1@matthewsyed@epkaufm No one is hiding their admiration for communism in the USA anymore. And interestingly they do not get jailed here for speaking freely. That’s the way it should be.
