Can you help us with our quest to commemorate the workers of the IWGC?
There is a small team of us trying to trace, photograph and commemorate all the men and women of the Imperial / Commonwealth War Graves Commission who died in service to the IWGC / CWGC.
Many of these graves date between 1920 and 1980. We’ve put together a rudimentary database so far on Wikipedia. If you know of any we may have missed, please let us know!

The highlight of @WeHaveWaysPod Fest so far (apart from winning Super Gehern). Fantastic demonstration by Tony Boyle of how to diffuse an air-laid mine!
Aberdeen man who was last surviving #WW2 Victoria Cross recipient dies aged 105: I was fortunate to speak to one of the last #WW1 VCs in the 90s and attended a funeral in 1991 where more than a dozen VCs from WW2 were present. That generation, almost gone. https://t.co/MQRyubrllG
VE Day 80
This weeks commemorative VE Day tour with Gold beach veteran, Ken Cooke. Featured on ITV Calendar on Wednesday evening.
Great coverage of his trip and the impact of remembrance travel for people who are able to return in families footsteps.
Five years ago today I released the first episode of @OldFrontLinePod, recorded in my living room, with a walk around Pozières. I wasn’t sure anyone would listen but all this time later we’re at 1.6M downloads and what an amazing podcast community we have ! Thanks to all!
The Liberation Route Europe Expo came to a close today with a guided tour of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Musueum. Walking through this place of remembrance, confronting its history, and reflecting on its significance was not easy. But sharing this experience with our colleagues, partners and members, made it extremely meaningful.
