@afrikan_gold@GunnerQuest10@Noninimgenge2ru It's a proposition. If he is as he says he is 'the truth', then not believing the truth would be living a lie. No matter the spiritual experiences. In a sense, to follow Christ is to abandon all that doesn't agree with him
@GunnerQuest10@Noninimgenge2ru But they attributed it to worship and not ignorance. The lady is acknowledging spiritual reality. Her only problem is the abandonment of the ancestral for Christ. The argument I'm posing is; if Christ is the truth, we ought to believe him regardless of origin. Truth is universal.

@basseyh3 @Only1dollyp @yabaleftonline Acts 15v29 - how far should we abstain from blood? If your friend cuts herself and in your attempt to help her, you touch her blood, have you sinned? If not, why are you assuming that the verse restricts itself only to blood intake into the body?
@basseyh3 @Only1dollyp @yabaleftonline As I said, the Watch Tower will not teach its followers the difference but it will teach them false equivalences. But let me ask you a question. If one is recommended a transfusion and they instead drink the blood, will it achieve the same result?
@basseyh3 @Only1dollyp @yabaleftonline 1. Alcohol and blood are not the same thing. This is a false equivalence. Also, if you were to attempt 'alcohol transfusion', you would most likely die because of toxicity. Digestion and transfusion are not the same thing.
@basseyh3 @Only1dollyp @yabaleftonline Distinction from Scripture:
- Man is restricted from eating meat with blood still in it (such as strangled animals).
- However, when it comes to man's blood, killing is what is punished.
The restriction of animals is not applied to man. Transfusion is not intended to kill
@basseyh3 @Only1dollyp @yabaleftonline Genesis 9:4-6 ESV
But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. (EATING) And for your (MAN'S) lifeblood I will require a reckoning... βWhoever sheds the blood of man, (KILLING) by man shall his blood be shed...
@basseyh3 @Only1dollyp @yabaleftonline The digestion process begins in the mouth and ends in the loo. Typically we eat to get rid of hunger or for pleasure. Transfusion is the replacement of lost blood aimed at saving life (not to get full or for pleasure). God also makes a distinction when it comes to animals and man
@Aytheking101 If someone needs a blood transfusion and you tell them to drink the blood instead of having it transfused, will it achieve the same effect? Is the Bible talking about eating blood or transfusion? It is not the same thing
@Aytheking101@yabaleftonline "She just reserved herself for everlasting life"... salvation is only by the grace of God through Jesus Christ and not by our works. God is the one who preserves us. The Bible doesn't even address blood transfusions let alone condemn it. Put your trust in Jesus, not your effort.
@Only1dollyp @yabaleftonline What the Watch Tower organisation refuses to tell its followers is that there is a difference between eating blood and transfusing blood. A blood transfusion is about preserving life.
@martinssempa@JonanTea@LarryMadowo He can simply do a proper job by attending the conference and then reporting. But he won't...he won't even admit that his framing is wrong. His ego won't let him nor will he bite the hand that feeds him
