After 7 months my lockdown project is finally done! Featuring an @TEAMEVGA 3090 FTW3, 5950x, a whole lot of @EKWaterBlocks parts, @CORSAIR tubing and internal fan, @WatercoolEN external rad, and @Noctua_at 200mm 1/3
@A_dmg04 any confirmation on the status of volatile mods moving forward and more specially killshot? It has enabled a couple of solos recently and it would suck to have those taken away from the solo community this final update
This patch is generational. Multiple permanent Artifacts, focusing in Orbit , 25 New Catalysts and some good balance changes too. Makes me so salty they didn't just announce a hiatus w/ Shattered Cycle around February, the game would have been in a phenomenal spot🥲.
@Destiny2Team Congrats to the team on pushing out this monster update. It’s looking like the single greatest update the game has ever seem. I’m just wondering what will happen to volatile weapon mods. Are those going away or staying?
@YeahYerYer Idk destroying in air accuracy, quick swapping, adding infinite ammo, was the beginning of the end people just didn’t want to admit it. If you continually nerf the ceiling there is no aspiration skill to work towards. The game has become more complex but that doesn’t make it hard
It’s been a few days now and I still cannot believe that it’s all coming to an end seeing everyone posting their clips and sharing their memories is hitting kinda hard
@MathRockSucked While not completely to blame it definitely plays a part along with everything else you mentioned. I would also add that Bungie’s pursuit of accessibility played a role. Instead of making the game actually accessible they just nerfed all skill expression and made the game easier.
At the age of 16, me and my best friend (who gave me the name 'rebulast'), picked up our midnight release editions of Halo 3, sped home, told our parents it was important, and played more Halo than you could imagine.
There is no Warframe without the legacy of Bungie games.
At its best, content was a machine to create memories and friendships. No new content stings.
This pain is about losing a place where so many memories were made. It stings not because of what it was, but the realization of what it won't be.
@Skarrow9 Have you seen Jason schreier’s article? It’s basically confirming to me that’s this is pretty abrupt and not Bungie’s choice. It felt to me we’d get another year, maybe two of content before that announce a D3. It feels off
