For all those interested, I think this is the current deployment of the 1th Guard Tank Army, it will prevent the Ukrainians from being able to exploit any breakthroughs and also baited a Ukrainian unit into a kill zone (Svatove could be possible location for HQ?)

4th Guard Tank Army thread 🧵

The tank army was formed in 1942, it fought in major engagements in the 2nd World War, it fought in Kursk, Kharkiv, belogrod and would see the liberation of Poland and was responsible for the liberation of krakow before then fighting in Prague. 1/?

The 4th Tank Army was tasked with supporting an offensive towards Kharkiv to support the Kiev distraction operation. It fought heriocly! It was redeployed to Izyum but had to go back to proper Russia due to matiencee concerns 4/?
