This entire Goku vs Saitama debate pretty much boils down to "Oh Saitama is a gag character, Goku got noncanon forms, and can't breathe in space. Saitama can never be defeated or hurt."

However:
1. Goku can fight in Space and can exist in empty voids, Saitama can't breathe in space either

2. Saitama is confirmed to be at the end of his training arc in the beginning of the story, even if his whole gag is that he defeats people in one punch there are multiple characters that have survived his punches. Saitama being a gag character doesn't even matter as Goku has been on par with Arale anyways and Hakai works against gags

3. Saitama had non canon covers and retconned chapters where as Goku never even needed Kaioken x100 or the Dragon Fist. It was for a fun shot.

They don't have any arguments cause Goku vs Saitama is widely in Goku's favor and it isn't a contest
