@powerfulbadeeu Please also note that I am not against criticism, but matters such as this are too sensitive and not to be played with politically. The people of Oriire need us as a people, which is what we are first, before political differences or affiliations
Cheers, bro.
@powerfulbadeeu Now that he is aware and awakened to his responsibilities, rather than focus on the positives, we intentionally chose to focus on something as trivial and irrelevant as the photographers. I believe we can do better as a people.
We have come so far but we are just getting started.
I am grateful for the touching and impactful progress we have made in Ogbomoso North, South and Oriire Federal Constituency.
Now is the time to do more, push boundaries, and deliver more.
Just like Dubai, which has visionary, innovative, and dedicated leaders who have achieved remarkable progress, we too can succeed.
Nigeria, Stand Up and Shine, I believe in you.
Wonderful people, Wonderful Nation.
Nigeria will rise to greatness once more, but until that happens, we will continue to voice our concerns about the flawed systems and a leadership approach fueled by greed, which is leading the country towards destruction.
Nevertheless, if each of us strives to be better citizens and actively hold our leaders accountable, we can collectively reclaim our lost or stolen values.
It is entirely possible for our beloved Nigeria to earn its place among the developed nations.
This video is an example of what the rule of law means in practical terms.
The power of the police to enforce the law is not limitless, and should not be exercised arbitrarily.
This video also shows the benefit of having a functional and an independent judiciary. The attorney deescalated the situation when the ‘journalist’ threatened them with a civil lawsuit.
In Nigeria, he would have been told to go to court before he could utter a word.
The Force PRO @Princemoye1 knows how this will end if the scenario here is replayed with policemen in Nigeria.
We know what happens when someone videos policemen in Nigeria. We also know what happens when a person questions them or demands justification for arrest or search.
The Police in Nigeria operates largely under a climate of impunity and lawlessness.

Historic progress!
The second reading of my bill for the creation of a new State in the SouthWest, Ibadan State, while also standing as its own capital, and a new capital, Ogbomoso for the already existing Oyo State, was a success.
While leading the debate on the floor of the House today, I stated that the proposed amendment is not just a constitutional restructuring, but a forward-thinking move that will address several social political, and economic concerns.
The creation of Ibadan as a state and its own capital, and Ogbomoso as the capital of Oyo state is a strategic and timely move for the advancement of the southwest region of Nigeria.

The time may be hard, and the situations might not be palatable, but never allow it to steal your joy.
Note, you're writing a story, and please laugh whilst writing and also bear in mind. One day, you shall tell the story of how you overcame.
I have a story!
