'Ms. Belief' is a painting paying homage to all mothers for being able to not only "water" their own garden but grow a seed into a whole person. Being able to create and carry life will always be a superpower to me. Most people from New Orleans know what misbelief trees are...

I choice this tree for a couple reasons but the most important would definitely be how plentiful the fruit grows. I always thought of this as a tree that can feed a whole community. Coming from a large family myself I always connected that idea with motherhood.
