@alvinsng This is such a good summary of what it takes - I think so many people over complicate and overthink. Good underlying philosophy + really smart, hungry, and action oriented team members is the secret sauce
@brettdash_ Agreed completely, these chat dashboards get replaced with the old defaults as soon as they ship and as soon as users see a “revert to old view” button.
@rabi_guha Chat may be the default but from what I can tell from folks in my space who use these products daily, they switch back to the old view immediately. Just because Microsoft made copilot the default interface doesn’t mean everyone uses it
We’ve been working on something behind the scenes at Yada, and it’s finally ready. Meet Signals—a total departure from the way the industry has approached STR marketing for years.
Stay tuned. We’re going live with Signals this week!
You can buy budget office chairs, but don't cheap out on your front line. The team handling your guest comms isn't just a cost center, they are your biggest opportunity to drive revenue. #hospitalitymarketing#directbookings
@TheMiamiApe A lot of SF and NYC elitism when it comes to assessing future tech hubs. I definitely love building here, it’s hard to say it’s better to build here than in SF or NY but it’s definitely a viable alternative that has a lot of pros.
The most expensive mistake you can make in STR automation? Not knowing when to shut the bot up. AI is incredible for 90% of your guest messaging, but if you don't have a Human-in-the-Loop strategy for the other 10%, you’re leaving money on the table and inviting bad reviews.
Fun fact, I used to blog back in the day

TLDR, California has been the most wasteful and most corrupt of all the 50 states for a lonnnnggg time.
@bhalligan I see a lot of this happening as well. We moved our company from Boston to Miami last year. Access to capital is more streamlined than in Boston. Talent pool is horrible but quite easy to recruit talent from Boston, NY, etc. to move. Would love to have stayed but untenable
