It's disappointing that we've almost been conditioned over the years by our places of work, to start with "the why" or to "disagree and commit" - even if it's at the cost of interpersonal relationships
@philnash Yes, and also questioning anywhere possible! Perhaps for me, understanding a decision or problem feels different from questioning a decision. Questioning cuts into operating lanes, discredits autonomy, and automatically establishes a power discrepancy between two people.
Has anyone in my birdy network practiced/aced the 4-hour workweek? I'd lovee to chat with you (feel free to DM me if you're not comfortable speaking about it publicly)
Are you a dev/platform engineer who lost their job? The platform engineering community is putting together a database for anyone impacted by layoffs!
Or are you hiring? Reach out/check Slack & we'll be sharing the database๐

@TechWithHannah So proud of your journey and grateful to have you as part of our team :) Don't be surprised if you see random requests from me in your inbox asking for book recommendations ;)

@jennifermarie@twilio Admittedly Twilio swag is pretty hard to beat. On the non-tech front though, I like the tees from club huey, because they pair them with matching tees for my dog!
Has anyone tried a "nappucino"? I just cannot bring myself to nap in the middle of the afternoon. Although, I am pretty effective at setting boundaries for my work schedule and taking micro-breaks throughout the day. Am I missing out on a deeply productive hack?
