Working on a plot outline for my #Elio2 plot

here's what i have so far for the first few minutes of the film

a stupid boredom idea: Elio ('25) but it's on a Game Boy Advance... in the big '26.

Ever since it came out on physical media a year ago, I thought of this in a worst way possible.

DID YOU KNOW that Elio now has a gap on his front teeth in 2.0 as opposed to his 1.0 design

While currently unconfirmed why this was done, it's likely it was to emphazise his otherness and unfittingness as this weird awkward little boy who's really obssesed with aliens

The original version would've turned 1000 DAYS OLD from it's initial March 2024 release on November 26

Despite what you might assume, #Elio 1.0 was NEVER planned to be in IMAX either way despite Dune 2 taking all it's potential screens when that moved to March

Such a HUGE bummer since Disney was intending to cash-cow the heck out of the film before the fabled test screening

The same can technically apply to his clone too who's hairstyle got changed to the real Elio's standard one in 2.0 to reflect how he's basically an undistingushable equal (in Elio's mind) now instead of representing the "perfect" kid that Olga would've wanted
