@WAFoxen Main events also attract a lot more recreational players who simply don’t handle them as well. I often see players betting 4k in two stacks of 100, for example, just so they can keep their bigger chips (or whatever else the reasoning).
@JonShoreman@SavagePoker 100% this! Well, except for 4: look in the tourny app when not in a hand, same for online poker. When you're multi tabling live and you go to the other table during a hand, your hand would be dead too ...
@SavagePoker To prevent confusion and opponent thinking there's a not all-in bet (sole purpose I can think of the rule), now this will cause potential bigger error of opponent thinking it's been checked to him ...
@SavagePoker Silly rule. There is a reason why putting biggest stack of highest value chips (not just 'some' chips) became a thing when all-in, I even see dealers often enforce it (imo good practice) and now we're going to do the opposite?
@SavagePoker It is a clear intention to raise when they anounce raise or put enough chips in to legally raise or do the grinder thumbs up or do or say anything else that suggests they want to raise, not when they simply ask how much behind ...
@SavagePoker This is ALWAYS a call, they could have just miscounted the call ... How is the intention clear, because A asks how much behind? So every time a player asks how much behind, they have to raise? Shocked at the poll!
