2027 is DGS' 20th anniversary and it will be my 10th anniversary as a fan so it's extra special. I'm thrilled to announce that I got an SS ticket to the event 🥹 I can't stop shaking
I might have forgotten to open my shoe cabinet, but pretty much all the shoes I have there are old and I was thinking of throwing them out anyway, so I guess there could be worse things
I was so surprised when my bread (that I kept for too long and didn't store properly, my fault) molded while I kept the AC almost all day, now I had to leave my place for a bit (I have AC running on dehumidification mode, multiple dehumidifiers and closet doors open) I'm scared😥
Did my best but hope I don't find moldy stuff when I come back 😥 Nothing got moldy my first year there but it's a different apartment and different city and it's raining all the time this year so maybe that's why it's different? I was caught off guard
OnoD at the crime scene again and I love that for him (have in fact started watching just because I thirst over this guy. I mean he has long hair do I have to say more?)
New profile picture. It kinda looks like I'm choking him 😭 ハレヨンくん大丈夫?
Planning to take a family picture with Hareyon-kun and Moss-kun when I get back home and make that my next profile pic
It's not "it means awkward because they were seen as awkward, cute!", it's the remains of a whole discrimination system. I can't keep seeing that tweet with zero historical context
Already talked about this but French culture definitely carries that sinister/bad meaning for left that can be found in other romance languages. I would be very interested in knowing what came first: did stigma against lefties create that sinister meaning, or did the (1/3)
The French word for 'left' is ‘gauche.’
In English, ‘gauche’ means “lacking social grace.”
It may have come about because left-handed people could appear awkward when trying to navigate a mostly right-handed world.
Rude.
sinister meaning create the stigma? This post misses a whole part of the conversation, which is that lefties were heavily discriminated against in France (and probably other European countries), fingers hit with a ruler if they were to use their left hand in school
