@katienotopoulos Last year, I moved to a part of L.A. where there are like 40 restaurants within 5 blocks, including a 24-hour (drive thru) fast food place a 2-minute walk away.
Albeit, the restaurants aren't all that great.
But I have vowed to never get delivery, unless I cannot walk.
@lindtgreer Yeah, that's what I thought you meant. Until I read the other comment. But, yeah, it's weird that this promo is so lackluster. Maybe it's fitting for Dakota's personality.
@righttimebomani@bomani_jones@JasonAEngland1 I wouldn't say it's copaganda, but a few of the real-life detectives who inspired The Wire and Homcide were truly evil people.
The Wire cops weren't truly evil.

@dutyfreechamp@johnsemley3000 Bryan Cranston earned an Oscar nomination and won an Emmy after Breaking Bad ended.
How many times has Jon Hamm been nominated for an Oscar and how many Emmys did he win after Mad Men ended?
@DezzyMitch@timeimmemorial_ It's a simple rule: If your show aired in the 90s, it wasn't eligible.
Changing the rules would open the list to shows like Law & Order, Buffy, Sex and the City, The West Wing...
Besides The Times did make sure The Sopranos was honored:

@InlandCaGuy Tony rarely had to deal with the cops. If he looked like the type of person that cops liked to target, the whole show would be entirely different. But it seems like he could live his mob life without a care.
@Attackwatch1@mr_sanford_lyl@InlandCaGuy Also, in Silvio Dante's first appearance, he asks Tony if he used to go to school with Artie Bucco. But yet it seemed like they all were well-acquainted with each other later on.
The funniest thing about the Sopranos is within 10 minutes of the first episode he's committed such a blatant crime in public the cat and mouse game with law enforcement should have ended right then and there.
@halfkelly Besides, The Sopranos is an old show.
James Gandolini was 35 when he began playing Tony Soprano. He would be 65 if he were still alive today.
@halfkelly It's a simple rule: If your show was available to watch in the 90s, it isn't eligible. There has to be a cutoff. And every cutoff is going to piss people off.
There are a lot of amazing shows that premiered in the 90s and aired most of their episodes in the 2000s.
@adventureofelsa@kaijucat_ A network show only has to cater to American viewers.
Netflix has to cater to its subscribers, the vast majority of whom are outside the U.S. So they have to order shows for Turkey, Korea, Mexico, Brazil, Denmark, South Africa, France, etc.
So short seasons make sense.
