When I was a kid, my dad went on a lot of hunts. Now as an adult, I fully understand. The more hunts I go on, the more I can slow down, reset, and take as many naps as possible.
Me: nothing ruins a hunters day quite like forgetting your release
Elite Hunter: learn to shoot with fingers and you won’t have that problem
Me: you haven’t seen me try to shoot with a release on
Bow Shop Employee: Sir, you are supposed to hit the 10 yard target
Me: (after sailing an arrow) how else am I supposed to practice what’s going to happen this fall?
I don’t know what everyone complains about. I can hunt whenever I want. You know, once I go to work and run errands and cook and clean and take care of my kids and take care of the honey do list and then figure out why my back hurts.
