☃️💜🌱After (pic 1), during & before. Reblooming TB Iris 'Mariposa Autumn' (Rick Tasco, 1999) thru 4" of snow Thursday & back at it. Better for warmer climates, in Zones 5-6 usually kicks Fall bloom at hard freeze-up, so I don't use in breeding for cold climate rebloom. Iridaceae

NAME SAYS IT ALL. Horned & Reblooming TB Iris 'Gladiatrix' (Dr. Lloyd Zurbrigg, 2003) has gone to battle with thorny Roses & sweet yet invasive native, Phlox paniculata - she's invincible! Among the last few rebloomers introduced by the late Dr. Zurbrigg. Robust!💪 Iridaceae

Standard Dwarf Bearded (SDB) Iris 'Cat's Eye' (Paul Black, 2002) can make quite a statement, where space permits a single rhizome can spread as many feet across as years the plant is old! Here after heavy thinning - vigorous! Iridaceae
