Being a brave athlete doesn’t mean you have no fear in games. It means you have the courage to face your fears, trust yourself, and take action despite feeling nervous.
Our heart felt condolences go out to James Smith Cree Nation & to those who lost a loved one today in this terrible tragedy. We will also continue to pray for those families in the surrounding communities who were injured in today’s attack 🙏🏼❤️#PrayersToYouAll

Big thanks to the Milestone Cougars for being great hosts today! Though we didn’t have enough players for our scheduled game, we did a joint practice and combined scrimmage. All of the players and coaches had a great time! @shsaasport@footballsask#reconciliation
Do Coaches have favorites?
100%!
YES THEY DO!
They like the ones who show up on time, work hard, accept coaching, get it done in the classroom, work hard in practice, set the example & are athletes of high character. It’s easy to favor someone who does all the right things.
Successful people make a lot of mistakes. They learn from them & keep trying until they get it right. They’re DOING while you’re still WAITING. Don’t ever be afraid to make mistakes. The only way to build grit, character & toughness is to try it, make adjustments & try it again!
